Holly Ketchum lives in Ozarks region of the mid-west United States, where she enjoys life with her partner, time outdoors, and being a kid herself. In fact, the ideas for her stories found in Adventures of D Mouse came during imaginative play with her family.
Holly's background is in child and family education, with a special concern for supporting families in healthy and happy child development. One of her interests is using movement and exercise to stimulate not only healthy bodies, but healthy minds. She currently works as a parent educator for families with children 0-5 years old.
Holly has also been a home-schooling mom, a foster parent, a volunteer in an orphanage in Guatemala, and a peace-builder in Cambodia, where she was part of the program development for a family violence reduction program. Since 2010, she has been involved in early childhood programs in the Ozarks area.
